Brass Works architectural fixtures catalog — brass, nickel, and stainless fittings

What's in the Catalog

The Brass Works catalog is a comprehensive listing of our architectural fixtures, fittings, and specialty items — organized by category and available in the full range of our standard finishes. While we are best known for our custom fabrication capability, we also maintain a core line of proven designs that serve as an efficient starting point for many projects.

Bar & Restaurant Fixtures

Our bar and restaurant fixture line covers the essential metalwork elements of a working commercial kitchen and bar environment. This includes bar nosing profiles in multiple cross-sections and finishes, sink bases and drain frames, menu stand frames, and wet floor sign formats. All bar fixture items are available in polished brass, satin brass, satin stainless, polished stainless, and oil rubbed bronze as standard options, with the full finish palette available on request for higher quantities.

Bar nosing profiles in the catalog range from simple flat cap profiles to ornate ogee and bullnose configurations. Each is available in standard 12-foot lengths with pre-cut mitered corners and end caps, or as custom lengths for unusual bar dimensions. End profiles — the termination of the nosing where the bar ends — are often overlooked in specifications but are a visible quality indicator; ours are finished with the same precision as the face.

Architectural Fittings

Architectural fittings in the catalog span handrail components, post and panel systems, specialty fasteners, and transition strips. These are the pieces that resolve the connections between major architectural elements — the points where a railing meets a floor, or where a stone threshold meets a wood floor surface. Getting these details right requires precision fabrication and appropriate material selection for the substrate and loading conditions.

Our handrail fittings include wall returns, end caps, angled connectors, and floor flanges in brass, stainless, and nickel plate. Post bases for railing systems come in surface-mount and core-mounted configurations, and are engineered for the load requirements of commercial code compliance.

Display Hardware

Our display hardware line covers the standard formats used in retail environments: hanger rods, bracket systems, base plates, display arm hardware, and specialty hooks. We also stock glass clip and shelf support hardware in brass and stainless variants. These are items that appear in the background of any well-merchandised retail space — the infrastructure that makes merchandise presentation possible.

Custom display hardware is our specialty — the catalog items are starting points for the many clients who need modifications, extended runs, or integration with other materials. We have produced display systems for fashion retailers, jewelers, leather goods boutiques, and specialty food and beverage retailers.

Specialty Items

The specialty section of our catalog includes items developed for specific client commissions that have since found broader application: custom-profile bar nosing, ornate bracket designs, specialty sign frames, and unique handle pull formats. These items represent solved design problems — solutions developed under the pressure of a real project requirement and refined for broader use.

Notable specialty items include the wet floor sign frame series (available in four height configurations and three finishes), the hostess stand frame system (adjustable height, removable writing surface), and the menu easel series (tabletop through floor-standing configurations).

Custom Orders & Consultation

Our catalog represents a fraction of what we can produce. The majority of Brass Works commissions involve custom design — either modifications to catalog items or wholly original pieces fabricated from a specification or design intent. We encourage clients to treat the catalog as a reference point rather than a boundary.

If you have a specific requirement, the most effective approach is to send us your project details — material preferences, finish preferences, dimensional requirements, and the environment the piece will live in — and let our craftsmen propose a solution. In many cases, a slight modification to an existing catalog form is all that's needed. In others, a completely original design is the right answer, and we'll develop it with you from concept through fabrication.

The Metal Construction Association provides useful technical references on metal specifications and tolerances that architects and designers working with our catalog may find helpful when preparing specifications for submittal.

Contact us to discuss your catalog or custom order requirements. We'll respond promptly with a consultation to ensure we understand your project before proposing a solution.

Need Something Not in the Catalog?

Most of our work is custom. If you can describe it, we can build it — in any metal, any finish, any dimension.
